COVID-19 Update - 4th November 2020
We are still open and operating normally through lockdown. Please note orders may take a little longer than usual to dispatch as a result of higher demand.
Our (now normal) increased levels of sanitisation have proven effective and we will continue to adhere to these standards.
We have good supplies of stock and our postal service partners remain operational and we see no changes to these services in the immediate future.
COVID-19 Update - 2nd July 2020
We are experiencing a gradual improvement in the global postal services ability to delivery our products, although there are some local postal hubs which are still struggling to clear backlogs. If you have any concerns about current delivery times, we would recommend you check with your local delivery office for the latest updates.
We continue to trade normally, and are maintaining our increased vigilance and sanitisation processes to ensure all our products are blended and dispatched as safely as is possible.
Thank you for your interest in Rosie Lea Tea and stay safe.

COVID-19 Update - 12th June 2020
As of the time of writing, we remain open for business!
As part of our responsible manufacturing processes, we already clean and sanitise our blending equipment and stainless-steel preparation surfaces during the blending and packing of our teas and accessories, as well as at the end of the working day to prevent cross contamination. We have a good supply of sanitising product at the current time as this is our standard practice and we don’t have to react to the current temporary shortage of products.
Since we began trading have always maintained a responsible approach to our customers and staff with regards to protective work wear, using gloves, lab coats and masks in order to protect both ourselves and the customer.
All incoming deliveries to us are subject to additional sanitisation procedures at the current time which include an ethanol based antibacterial clean of all exterior packaging in an environment away from our processing building, and a subsequent additional isolation period of at least 5 days before products are used to ensure no residual risk is brought into our production area.
As a Royal Mail business customer, we are updated daily on the postal services in both the UK and services to our overseas destinations. We have always used Royal Mail Tracked delivery services and continue to do so. We are being advised however, that whilst this service is operating normally within the UK (there are some delays to our Tracked 48 service), we have been notified that tracking of parcels overseas by partner postal services is not universally being honoured and once parcels leave the UK it is not always possible to see the parcel progress to its final destination.
*** WE ARE AWARE OF SIGNIFICANT DELAYS WITH CERTAIN INTERNATIONAL SERVICE CENTRES WITHIN THE USA, THERE ARE ADVISORIES IN PLACE THAT INTERNATIONAL PARCELS ARE TAKING UP TO 6 WEEKS TO PROCESS THROUGH THE USPS SYSTEM. ***
Through this testing time for all of us, we appreciate our customers loyalty and commitment and in return we will do our utmost to keep the tea flowing!
Keep safe, and we wish all our health services around the world, who are doing so much to get us through this testing time, all our thanks and all our support.

ROSIE LEA TEA and the COVID-19 RESPONSE 7th April 2020
Through this difficult time Rosie Lea Tea is still open for business and is trading solely online.
As a responsible business, we are following developments closely and are taking Government advise seriously. We are taking decisions daily with regards to our operations to ensure the safety of our staff and customers alike.
We continue our increased health and safety measures throughout this period as we have previously described in our updates and have a good supply of antibacterial cleaning materials.
To date we are not aware of any parcels not being received.
We are also advised daily of any countries closing their borders to incoming mail, and if you are in one of those countries, then we will not be able to deliver to you and will advise you of that fact when we receive your order and provide a full refund.
At the current time, we are advising our customers that once an order is placed, that they should expect a longer than normal delivery time and please be patient. We are not able to influence shipping times though this period
Our thoughts are with everyone this pandemic is affecting physically, mentally & financially and our gratitude goes out to all those on the front line who are working so hard around the world to see us through this time.

COVID-19 Update - 25th March, 2020
As of the time of writing, we remain open for business.
As a family based business, working from a purpose-built unit adjacent to our home, we are fortunate to have no travel restrictions in force.
Royal Mail yesterday issued a statement that they will continue to operate their postal and parcel services, and as we have daily collections by Royal Mail direct from our premises, we do not have to travel in order to send our deliveries out.
We currently have plenty of stock, and there is further stock on its way to us from our suppliers who are doing a fantastic job to keep the country working, so we are well placed to continue to fulfil all orders coming in to us.
Through this testing time for all of us, we appreciate our customers loyalty and commitment and in return we will do our utmost to keep the tea flowing!
Keep safe, and we wish all our health services around the world who are doing so much to get us through this testing time all our thanks and all our support.
ROSIE LEA TEA and the COVID-19 RESPONSE 15th March 2020
You will be aware that the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) is having an impact on all of our lives, regardless of where we live and what we do.
As of this moment in time we have NO plan to close down or stopping trading. We still aim to deliver our high-quality products and services as normal. As we use Royal Mail business post, we will continue to dispatch orders daily to both UK and overseas destinations as we have been informed that freight services are currently operating normally, only passenger services are currently being affected.
We have been in close contact with our suppliers, and at the current time have been told that there is no lack of supply to us so that we can continue to blend the teas that you love. We work in a purpose-built unit adjacent to our home meaning we have no travel restrictions in getting to work. It is not accessible to any other people and is regularly deep cleaned as we outline below. As a small family business, we are in a position to closely monitor and mitigate against any of our employees feeling unwell, and to look after the best interests of both them and the business.

As part of the tea making process, heat is applied to dry the teas. For Black Tea, Green & Oolong teas, this is at temperatures approaching those required to boil water for around 15 minutes. Reports from the W.H.O and other sources indicate that the coronavirus cannot withstand such high temperatures.
We do and always will put cleanliness of our manufacturing process and products first, and as an aside, because tea is always added to boiling (or near boiling) water this adds another level of security in knowing that you, the customer can take confidence in knowing our products are safe to consume.
As and when we get any further updates regarding the COVID-19 situation and the impact it may have on us, we will pass these on.
